Louis P. Rothman is of counsel to the firm. Lou has over forty years of substantial experience in corporate, real estate and commercial law. Lou has acquired expertise in structuring corporations, limited liability companies, partnerships, limited partnerships and joint ventures, which he has represented from inception through dissolution. Lou has participated in a variety of complex transactions, including leasehold financing, shopping center developments, assemblages, reciprocal and utility easements, city-county-developer developments, and purchasing and selling large tracts of land.
Lou received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Columbia University and his Doctor of Jurisprudence degree from The Cornell Law School. He is admitted to practice before all California state courts and the United States District Court for the Central District of California. He has also been admitted to practice before all New York state courts and the United States District courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.

Lou has taught business law to undergraduate and graduate students as an Adjunct Professor at Pepperdine University. He has served as an Arbitrator for the Los Angeles County Superior Court and as a Judge Pro Tem for the Los Angeles and Santa Monica municipal courts.
Lou was accepted by the National Registry of Who’s Who as a Life Member in 1999.
